The Oshawa Generals have dealt Anthony Cirelli to Erie, in exchange for Rookie Forward Allan McShane and draft picks. McShane has recorded 7 goals and 16 assists for 23 points in 33 games played this season. The Gens also receive the following draft picks:

2 x 2nd

1 x 4th

1 x 2nd Cond.

1 x 6th Cond.

With the Oshawa Generals sitting in 1st Place you could wonder if they were going to keep things as they are and make a run for it this season or build for the 2018 Memorial Cup season in which they have a bid in.

Cirelli had just returned from Team Canada where he finished with 2 key goals and was relied on for the faceoff wins.

Cirelli, also known as OT hero will be missed in Oshawa and we with nothing but success for Anthony in the future.
